The 30-Second Workshop: Sales

Here’s a 30-second workshop on sales:

  1. Sales is helping someone make a high-confidence decision with a payoff.
  2. Sell the outcome (transformation) instead of the product or service.
  3. The outcome provides a payoff or solves a problem.
  4. Sell products and services with 10x outcomes realized within 12 months.
  5. Show the price for saying no.
  6. Get the customer to give the pitch.
  7. Guarantees without knowing the customer inputs are worthless. Avoid them.
  8. Offer certainty instead of a guarantee.
